Delete your account

You can delete your Rummage account and the data in it at any time.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Profile.
2. Open the Account card.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm with your password.

This removes your account and everything you created in it: pantry, recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, journal entries and the private photos you uploaded. It cannot be undone.

By email

If you can't get into the app, email support@rummage.kitchen from the address you registered with and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to confirm it's you. We'll carry out the deletion and reply within one month at the latest.

Things to know

• Subscriptions are not cancelled. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription, because only Apple or Google can do that. Cancel it with them first, or you may keep being billed.
• Shared dish images stay. A shared cache of AI-generated dish pictures is not linked to any person, so it is kept.
• Backups. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for a limited time before it ages out. See the Privacy Policy for details.
• Records we must keep. Billing and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.
